Conference dinner Château Neercanne
On Thursday 14th September there will be a conference dinner on the terrace and marl caves of Château Neercanne. As the only terraced castle in The Netherlands, Château Neercanne commands panoramic views across the Jeker Valley and straddles two countries – Belgium and Holland. Renowned for its superb Michelin-starred à la carte restaurant and popular lunch spot l’Auberge, it also houses a network of Marl Caves.
Prior to the dinner an aperitif is served on the terrace of the Château. The walled Terrace overlooks the rolling slopes of the Cannerberg Hill, extensive vineyards and panoramic views of Jeker Valley, across into Belgium. The Terrace provides a perfect stop-off point for those exploring the beautiful Maastricht countryside.
The Marl Caves is the location where the exclusive dinner takes place. A network of ancient passageways running through the stunning Marl Caves, lead to Château Neercanne’s renowned wine cellar. Providing ideal conditions for wine storage, the cellar has been chiselled out of the limestone to create the perfect and most individual backdrop from which to sample some of the carefully chosen vintages. This historic location is made all the more unique by the carved signatures and inscriptions that mark the walls. Everyone from royalty to key European leaders and famous actors has inscribed their mark, adding to the innate character of this venue.
You can register for the dinner when the conference registration is open.
